I dont have any other big news besides this peek at the facelift. The Sedona is another vehicle that could very well receive the 2.2 diesel in North America because HMG (especially Kia) is solidly in the DGAF-phase of brand growth. Also, as diesel becomes less popular in Europe everyone is trying to make up the costs through offering the engines in North America. Keep an eye on BMW, HMG, GM, Ford, Mercedes, and FCA (if the last two get things sorted out).

I mentioned before that there is an endless sea of diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains coming out of South Korea. There are also trucks, big SUVs, sportscars, hot hatches/crossbuns, luxury cars, and very solid consumer products coming our way between 2017 to 2022. It’s to the point where there will be at least two things being launched nearly every month between 2020 and 2022.

If you are wondering why HMG seems to be avoiding collaborations with all other automakers, it’s likely due to this completely insane blitz they are launching right now.

I’ll do my best to give you all a heads up. For now, here is a cheesy video!

That grille leaves a lot to be desired.

Maybe someone will cook up a grille similar to the current Sedona...

My lease us up next year. I’d totally consider a diesel Sedona. It’s just weird enough to be on board.
